When that person clicks on the link to view the advertiser's website, they are credited the specified amount. It can be as much as ten cents per website viewed, or a certain number of points which can then be redeemed for cash, prizes, or gift cards.

A person can realistically make about twenty extra dollars per month by working on pay per click campaigns. It is typically not a huge amount of money, but it can fill the gas tank once a month, add to a person's Christmas fund, or be redeemed for gift cards for family or friends' birthdays. It certainly can help improve the quality of life for a person looking to make a few extra dollars per month. It can certainly ease the burden on a single income family by allowing a small cushion in the checking account at the end of each pay period, and make living paycheck to paycheck a little easier to handle.
